In Bergen op Zoom, DAMA Construction & Maintenance recently completed a meticulously executed job, removing an entire chimney and its associated flues. This project focused entirely on safety, sustainability, and creating additional usable space.
Work performed
- Chimney completely removed: including the upper and lower parts, safely and neatly disposed of.
- Flues removed: old ducts removed to prevent leaks and heat loss in the future.
- Roof and facade repair: The resulting openings have been expertly sealed and finished, so that the whole thing is wind- and watertight again.
- Construction control: load-bearing parts have been checked and reinforced where necessary to ensure stability.
The result
A home that is safer, more energy-efficient, and easier to maintain. By removing the chimney and flues, residents not only have a reduced risk of leaks and thermal bridges, but also a sleeker appearance.
