Why attic insulation?
A well-insulated attic ensures that your home stays nice and warm in the winter and feels cooler in the summer. Whether you use the attic as storage space or as extra living space – we offer the right solution for every situation.
Our specialists will work with you to determine which insulation method is best: insulation of the attic floor or insulation of the roof on the inside. We work with high-quality materials such as glass wool, Gutex, Supafil Loft or biobased alternatives.
Which method suits your attic?
The choice between attic or roof insulation depends on the use of the space:
Attic floor insulation – Perfect if you do not heat the attic and only use it for storage. Insulating the floor keeps the heat in the living areas below.
Roof insulation (from the inside) – Ideal if your loft serves as a bedroom, home office or playroom. The space remains comfortable in all seasons.

How much does attic insulation cost?
The exact costs depend on the size of your attic, the insulation material chosen and the condition of your roof or floor. On average, the costs are between €1,500 and €3,500, with a payback period of approximately 5 years – depending on your energy consumption.

Subsidy for attic insulation
Good news: you qualify for national ISDE subsidy! When you choose attic insulation through a recognized insulation company such as Dama Bouw & Onderhoud, you can get part of the investment back:
€4,- per m² with one isolation measure
€8,- per m² with two or more isolation measures
€9.50 per m² when using biobased insulation material (from 2024)
Please note: conditions apply, such as a minimum surface area and the use of certified materials. We are happy to help you with your subsidy application.
