In the city center of Utrecht We recently carried out work on the roof of an apartment complex (Homeowners' Association). The existing roof showed signs of wear and tear and offered insufficient protection against the elements, posing a risk of leaks and further damage. To remedy this, we have completely new roof layer installed and various roof details addressed and improved.
Work performed
New roof layer installed:
The old roof surface has been prepared and fitted with new, high-quality roofing over approximately 200 m². This once again ensures reliable and durable waterproofing.
New roof trims installed:
The existing trims have been replaced with new, sleek roof trims that provide a neat finish and extra protection along the edges of the roof.
Lead incorporated into the facade:
New lead has been expertly installed in the facade to create a watertight connection between the roof and the rising masonry.
Chimney treated:
The top plate of the chimney is provided with a protective coating, and additionally, the chimney is wrapped in bitumen for extra durability and protection against moisture.
Inspection and finishing:
The entire roof has been inspected and neatly finished, ensuring everything is technically sound and looks well-maintained.

The roof of the apartment complex in Utrecht city center is back in top condition. Thanks to the renewed roof layer and improved details, the roof now offers:

- Clean finish of edges and joints.
- Better protection of the chimney against wear and moisture.
